About Gary Winans

Gary comes from the family of a successful builder/developer, who was an early pioneer in the affordable retirement community concept in Southern California. Later the focus of the business turned to the luxury home market.

EXPERIENCE
He started working in the family business in high school, and went on to study business at San Diego State University.

Gary worked his way up in the company, eventually attaining the position of President. He was actively involved in the acquisition of land for development and was responsible for the sales and marketing of over 300 new homes in various subdivisions throughout Southern California.

In 1995, Gary partnered in the purchase of a Motel and Theatre in Branson, Mo. Gary along with his wife, Ruthann, and their four children, moved to Branson to manage the endeavor full time. The move to Branson, a place that values God and Country, suited them well.

In 2006, Gary partnered with his lifelong friend and business partner, and purchased a 430 acre parcel of land near Branson that would become Hickory Ridge Estates. This gated community has become known for being one of the finest in the area.

Gary still loves living in Branson. In fact, 3 of his 4 kids have chosen to make it their home too.

Real estate has been his life and he still loves what he does. “I enjoy looking at real estate and helping people find their dream home” says Gary.
